Finance Manager

Detailed Job Description

  • Based in Quezon City office, Manila
  • Lead a small team of 2 staff
  • Take charge of the finance function of ROHQ
  • Review, communicate and ensure effective implementation of process, system control, policies and procedures and work closely with IT team
  • Responsible for all financial operations, financial management, reporting, budgeting & planning, auditing, taxes, accounting activities of ROHQ
  • Prepare timely financial and management reporting, and conduct variance analysis
  • Manage relations with relevant government authorities, banks, financial institution and HK Regional office in relation to funding, transactional platforms and compliance
  • Partner with Birgma Asia countries for financial accounting and order management
  • Communicate with internal & external auditors, tax advisor and bankers
  • Provide legal and tax-related information to Management and Regional office in HK
  • Formulate or review financial control policies and procedures and be responsible for improvements to strengthen operational efficiency
  • Provide HR and general administration support to the ROHQ office
  • Be a business partner working closely with ROHQ Office Manager and functional owners to lead and drive the operation efficiency
  • Assist top management in analyzing issues, preparing feasibility study and executing changes
  • Perform ad hoc duties as and when required

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline with 5 years’ relevant experience
  • Experience in MNC and SSC environment and matrix structure
  • Well versed in IFRS, local GAAPs and tax laws
  • Knowledge in Philippines employment and administration procedures, practices and related legislation is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, open minded, proactive, detail-oriented and analytical thinking, ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong and experienced in internal control
  • Strong leadership, motivation and managerial skills
  • Result driven and self-starter, and willing to accept challenges and work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Good command of written and spoken in English
  • Advance user of MS Excel and PowerPoint. MS AX knowledge is definitely an advantage
