Detailed Job Description

OPERATION SERVICES

  • Responsible for assuring business users that desktop support are provided efficiently and timely.
  • Provide on-site or remote access diagnosis and resolution of computer hardware and software problems.
  • Manage and administer the Service Desk toolset to ensure it meets the requirement of service provision and supports alignment.
  • Manage IT assets in Asia offices.
  • Provide ad-hoc non-office hours support if required.

INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES

  • Define new infrastructure systems commonly with the Group IT following standards.
  • Implement, support, monitor and maintain infrastructure (both hardware and software) and services in data center and all Asia sites.
  • Design and implement procedures and technologies to deploy system upgrades, maintenance fixes, and vendor-supplied patches.
  • Conduct infrastructure capacity and performance analysis across multiple platforms and suggest improvement.
  • Support Group IT infrastructure project implementation where applicable.

Job Requirements: 

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure and operations support to overseas offices.
  • Experience in the following areas:
    • Technical analysis, implementation, configuration, and upgrading of network infrastructure consisting of LAN/WAN equipment, switches, routers, wireless infrastructure, HP server and storage infrastructure.
    • Microsoft Server technology and infrastructure platforms including Windows server operating systems, messaging (Exchange), database (SQL), web proxy, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, IM (Skype for business) and Remote Desktop Services.
    • Implementation, support proactive system monitoring and management of infrastructure components and application services.
  • Knowledge in System patch deployment, Symantec, Citrix, SAN, VMware, vSAN or HCI solution.
  • Good in service provision attitude.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with Asia IT team members, Group IT team members, business users, and vendors.
  • Ability to work with corporate standards, propose and discuss technologies and solutions to be decided by headquarters
  • Remain calm under pressure and when faced with adversity or urgent issues. 
  • Strong communication skills with good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin.
  • Fresh graduate or less experience will be considered for Assistant Analyst.
